Sepehr: |
Sepehr Music Ensemble founded
by some of the regular members of CPRPM (Center of
Preservation and Research of Persian Music) in 2001.
Currently, Sepehr, as a private organization, works on
the traditional Persian music in Iran.
All the founders are the college of music graduates from
the well known universities in Iran and have done a lot
of researches and works on traditional styles of playing
musical instruments. |

Asareh Shekarchi: |
Borne in 1981 in Tehran, She
started learning music at age 7. When she was 10 she
started her “Tonbak” practice with late Dariush Zargari
and in Fajr Music festival of 1995 and 1996 she received
the second prize. In 1998 she started to learn
“Kamancheh” under the guidance of her father, Master Ali
Akbar Shekarchi and in 2000 she entered Tehran’s
University of Fine Arts. She received the first prize
for “Radif Navazi” at Student Music Festival in 2002.
She has played in many concerts as a duet player with
her father in cities such as Tehran, Rasht, Shiraz,
Semnan, Damghan, Arak, Ahvaz and countries such
Switzerland, France and Italy.
She is now teaching “Tonbak” in Arash Music Institute. |

Bahareh Fayazi: |
She was borne in 1979 in Tehran and started to practice
Sitar at age of 8 under Zedollah Toloee. She pursuit
music by learning Tar under the guidance of Masters such
as Arshad Tahmasebi, Dariush Talayee, Dariush Pirniakan,
Hasan Alizadeh and Masoud Shoarie and performed in many
concerts with Nu Bahar ensemble. She also received first
prize winner in Fajr Music Festival in 2000, competing
in solo Tar and in 1980 she graduated from Tehran
University of Fine Arts in 2001. Bahareh Fayazi is
member of Institute of Modaresin and navazandegan of
Tehran Music House and is supervisor for Bahar Music
Institute. |

Najmeh Saghir: |
Borne in 1982 in Shiraz, she
learned Setar under the guidance of master Keyvan Saket.
From 1999 She
started taking classes in “Oud” under the guidance of
Mohmmad Reza Ebrahimi. She Also Play “Oud” in "Khorshid"
Ensemble And "Banovan-e Mehr" Ensemble.
She is the graduate of
Art University. |

Seyed Ehsan Abedi: |
Borne in 1981 in Arak, He started
music by playing Zarb with help of Mohammad Aghayie.
From 1999 he started taking classes in “Ney” under Reza
Rabie and when he entered Sureh University he continued
his “Ney” practice under the guidance of Abdolnaghi
Afsharnia. He also practiced with late Hadadian for 3
years. He is member of Institute of “Modaresin and
Navazandegan of Tehran Music House” and also teaches Ney
in “Avaye Mehrabani” and “Bahar” Music Institutes. |

Ahmad Rezakhah: |
Borne in 1972 in Khoeinishahr
of Isfahan, and in 1990 started to practice Santur under
the guidance of Babak Deiheem and Saeed Naemi Manesh. In
1994 he took lessons with Pashang Kamkar and two years
later he entered Tehran University of Fine Arts and
graduated 4 years later while practicing Santur under
the guidance of Master Majid Kiani. He was member of
“Shahnazi” ensemble for 4 years and performed in many
concerts with the ensemble and was the runner up in
first and second Student Music Festival, competing in “Radif”.
Rezakhah also studied classical music with masters such
as Kambiz Roshanravan and Alireza Mashayekhi and at the
moment he is doing research in traditional method of
Iranian music under the supervision of Majid Kiani. |

Farid Kheradmand: |
Farid was
born in 1975 in Tehran and in 1984 started to practice
Zarb with Abas Dabestani. He then started to learn
modern methods of Tonbak Navazi in 1990 with Jamshid
Mohebi. After 4 years he got more interested in
traditional methods of music and learned Radif under the
guidance of Ali Bayani and Master Majid Kiani. |
